We worked with Honeybook to design and build out their Soma offices, helping to create a vibrant office environment where employees find themselves productive in an array of unique spaces. At the entry, visitors are greeted by a board-formed concrete reception desk, with acid etched Honeybook logo, before they are led into an intimate cafe. A live edge counter and peninsula bar made from local deodar cedar rests on a single steel structure, referencing Sutro Tower. The lobby is separated from the workspace by deck-to-deck, 14’ tall by 14’ wide perforated steel shelving. Beyond the kitchen, you will find the bar composed of old corrugated metal framed by plumajillo. The backbar is illuminated by scissor arm wall lamps and in front, a crescent shaped mobile bar for internal happy hours and events all over the office.
